Saucy Liver by Women's Institute
Ingredients
- 1 lb liver - lamb or pigs
- 15 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz Bramley apples - peeled, cored and chopped
- 4 oz streaky beacon
- 2 medium onions - sliced
- 1 clove garlic - crushed
- ¼ tsp dried mixed herbs
- salt and pepper
- oil
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oil in a heavy frying pan and add the onions, garlic and bacon.
Step 2
Fry until the onions are browning, then add the liver and apples and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Stir inthe soup, seasoning and herbs.
Step 4
Cover and cook for 20 minutes until liver is tender.
Step 5
Serve with mashed potato.
